YBA Tikvat Yaakov, Nordlicht family, to Dedicate Sefer Torah to Mark 60th Year

This year, 5775 (2014-15),  will mark its 60th Anniversary of YBA Tikvat Yaakov, the third oldest residential boys high school yeshiva in the YBA educational network, founded by Rabbi Moshe Zvi Neria, z"l, in 1954.

The yeshiva will kick off the anniversary year at the Ehrman Campus at Moshav Sde Yaakov on Sunday, October 19, 2014 at 12:00 noon, with a Sefer Torah dedication ceremony in the school's Beit Midrash (Study Hall).

The new Sefer Torah is being dedicated by the children of Julie and Barbara Nordlicht, in honor of their father's 80th birthday. A festive meal in the school's dining hall will follow the dedication ceremony.

Friends of the Nordlicht family and supporters of YBA Tikvat Yaakov who will be visiting Israel during the Sukkot holiday are invited to join in the celebration.

To make your reservation contact Rabbi Yaakov Ackerman, ysda@netvision.net.il, 054-571-3074 by October 12, 2014.

YBA Tikvat Yaakov is planning other events, including a gala alumni reunion in the spring, to culminate the 60th Anniversary year.
